Code review

ZION SECURITY is expert in executing code reviews, manually or automated. A code review is required when the objective is to find all vulnerabilities and backdoors in a (web) application. Often we complement code review with security testing to verify the exploitability of the identified vulnerability.

Code review also allows to give in depth countermeasures to secure the application and to train developers to prevent future holes.

During most code reviews we have identified security issues in the business logic of the application, which would not have been found using a penetration test approach.
